Spruce-Hillside Upright 6C

Hillside Upright Spruce (Picea abies 'Hillside Upright') is a distinctive evergreen conifer featuring rich green needles, an exceptionally narrow, upright growth habit, and gracefully arranged branches that create an elegant vertical accent throughout the year. Thriving in full sun with moderately moist, well-drained soil, this ornamental spruce is an excellent choice for specimen plantings, narrow landscape spaces, and evergreen groupings in central Illinois. Hillside Upright Spruce provides dependable year-round color, excellent cold hardiness, and striking architectural interest with minimal pruning, although adequate moisture and protection from prolonged summer drought will help maintain its attractive appearance.
