Spruce-Black Hills 10C

Black Hills Spruce (Picea glauca var. densata) is a beautiful evergreen conifer featuring dense, short, dark green to blue-green needles and a naturally symmetrical, compact pyramidal habit that provides attractive color and structure throughout the year. Thriving in full sun with moderately moist, well-drained soil, this hardy spruce is an excellent choice for specimen plantings, privacy screens, windbreaks, and spacious landscapes throughout central Illinois. Black Hills Spruce offers exceptional cold hardiness, a slower growth rate than many other spruces, and a naturally dense form that requires minimal pruning, making it a dependable choice for long-lasting evergreen beauty.
