Spirea-Little Princess 2C

Little Princess Spirea (Spiraea japonica 'Little Princess') is a charming, compact deciduous shrub featuring delicate clusters of rosy-pink flowers in late spring to early summer, beautifully complemented by finely textured, bright green foliage that develops attractive bronze-red tones in autumn. Thriving in full sun to partial shade with average, well-drained soil and moderate moisture, this naturally rounded shrub is an excellent choice for foundation plantings, low hedges, mixed borders, and mass plantings throughout central Illinois. Little Princess Spirea attracts butterflies and other pollinators, offers excellent cold hardiness, and provides dependable seasonal color with minimal maintenance, making it a lovely addition to smaller gardens and low-maintenance landscapes.
