Zigzag Goldenrod (Solidago flexicaulis) produces airy clusters of bright golden-yellow flowers along gracefully arching stems from late summer into fall, bringing vibrant color to shaded gardens when few other native perennials are in bloom. Thriving in partial shade to full shade with average to moist, well-drained soil, this adaptable native is an excellent choice for woodland gardens, naturalized areas, pollinator plantings, and shaded borders. Easy to grow and low maintenance, Zigzag Goldenrod attracts bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators while supporting native wildlife and providing valuable late-season nectar.
