Pine-Westerstede 3-4' 15C

Westerstede Pine (Pinus strobus 'Westerstede') is an attractive evergreen conifer featuring soft, blue-green needles and a dense, upright pyramidal habit that adds graceful texture and year-round color to the landscape. Thriving in full sun with moderately moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil, this ornamental pine is an excellent choice for specimen plantings, evergreen groupings, and spacious landscapes throughout central Illinois. Westerstede Pine offers excellent cold hardiness, soft-textured foliage, and a naturally attractive form that requires minimal pruning, although protection from poorly drained soils and prolonged drought will help maintain its beauty.
