Peony-Paul M. Wild 2C

Paul M. Wild Peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Paul M. Wild') is a magnificent herbaceous perennial featuring large, fully double, deep ruby-red flowers with a rich, velvety appearance, blooming in late spring to early summer above lush, dark green foliage. Thriving in full sun with fertile, well-drained soil and consistent moisture, this classic peony is an excellent choice for perennial borders, cottage gardens, and cutting gardens throughout central Illinois. Paul M. Wild Peony offers beautiful, long-lasting cut flowers, excellent winter hardiness, and decades of dependable spring color with minimal maintenance once established, although its heavy blooms may benefit from staking.
