Ninebark-Tiny Wine® 2C

Tiny Wine® Ninebark (Physocarpus opulifolius 'SMPOTW') is a compact, bushy deciduous shrub featuring rich burgundy-purple foliage and abundant clusters of delicate pinkish-white flowers in late spring to early summer, creating a beautiful contrast of color and texture. Thriving in full sun to partial shade with average, well-drained soil and moderate moisture, this versatile native-species cultivar is an excellent choice for foundation plantings, mixed borders, low hedges, and smaller gardens throughout central Illinois. Tiny Wine® Ninebark offers excellent cold hardiness, attracts bees and other pollinators, and maintains a naturally dense, rounded habit with minimal pruning, providing attractive foliage color throughout the growing season.
