Maple-Brandywine 2.0"B

Brandywine Red Maple (Acer rubrum 'Brandywine') is a beautiful deciduous shade tree featuring glossy, deep green foliage that transforms into spectacular shades of brilliant red and deep burgundy-purple in autumn, complemented by a dense, upright oval canopy. Thriving in full sun to partial shade with moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil, this attractive tree is an excellent choice for lawns, street plantings, and residential landscapes throughout central Illinois, particularly where soil alkalinity is not excessive. Brandywine Red Maple offers excellent cold hardiness, outstanding fall color that often lasts longer than many other red maples, and a seedless male form that eliminates messy helicopter seeds, making it a wonderful choice for dependable shade and seasonal beauty.
