Distinctive gold leaves with heavy substance have a striking blue-green margin. Pale lavender flowers appear on scapes above the foliage. A standout in a shaded perennial bed or woodland garden. Best color with some bright morning light; leaves will be more green in deep shade. Slug resistant. Selected as 2001 Hosta of the Year.
