Hophornbeam-Ironwood 1.75"B

Medium sized tree producing yellow blooms followed by fruits resembling hops.  The wood is extremely hard and is used to make agricultural tools.  Hardy to -30F.  Dark green birch-like leaves that change to yellow in autumn; cream colored inflated fruits that look like hops.
