Grass-Hot Rod 1C

A new Switchgrass with red-foliaged muscle. ‘Hot Rod’ emerges blue green and quickly shifts into full-throttle deep red. It’s one of the earliest red Switchgrasses to color up. In fall the foliage accelerates into deep purple. Topped with red-purple seeds and graced with an upright stature it gives a boost to landscapes that benefit from a colorful perennial.
