Fir-Green Spiral 6C

Green Spiral European Silver Fir (Abies alba 'Green Spiral') is a distinctive evergreen conifer featuring rich green needles and an unusual, twisting, upright growth habit that creates an eye-catching architectural accent throughout the year. Thriving in full sun to partial shade with moist, well-drained, slightly acidic soil, this ornamental fir is best suited for protected specimen plantings and specialty conifer gardens in central Illinois. Green Spiral Fir provides year-round color and sculptural interest with minimal pruning, although protection from extreme summer heat, drying winds, and poorly drained soils will help it perform at its best.
