Filipendula-Variegata 1C

European Meadowsweet is a border perennial with bold ferny foliage similar to Astilbe. Plants form a bushy clump bearing sprays of white flowers in early summer. This selection is grown more for the green and creamy-yellow variegated foliage the flowers are sometimes trimmed off to encourage more leaves.
