Cypress-Green Whisper 2.5"BP

Green Whisper® Bald Cypress (Taxodium distichum 'JFS-SGPN') is a graceful deciduous conifer featuring soft, feathery, bright green foliage that turns warm coppery-orange in autumn, complemented by an elegant, upright pyramidal habit and finely textured branching. Thriving in full sun with average to moist soil, this adaptable tree is an excellent choice for specimen plantings, spacious lawns, rain gardens, and landscapes with periodically wet or heavy clay soils throughout central Illinois. Green Whisper® Bald Cypress offers excellent cold hardiness, tolerance of seasonal flooding, and beautiful seasonal color, providing the soft appearance of an evergreen with the added benefit of shedding its needles naturally each autumn.
