Boxwood-Baby Gem 2C

Baby Gem™ Boxwood (Buxus microphylla var. japonica 'Gregem') is a compact, broadleaf evergreen shrub featuring dense, glossy, rich green foliage and a naturally rounded, mounded habit that provides beautiful structure and color throughout the year. Thriving in full sun to partial shade with fertile, well-drained soil and moderate moisture, this versatile shrub is an excellent choice for low hedges, foundation plantings, formal borders, and container gardens throughout central Illinois. Baby Gem™ Boxwood offers a naturally tidy appearance, responds beautifully to shaping, and provides dependable year-round interest with minimal pruning, although protection from harsh winter winds and afternoon winter sun is beneficial in colder locations.
