The starry pale blue clusters of flowers of Ozark Bluestar appear beginning in April crowning upright stalks of willowy foliage. Reaching about three feet, this Bluestar does best in a prairie situation in moist to mesic loam soils. The graceful leaves turn almost butterscotch colored in autumn. An excellent plant for a natural area or garden bed.
