Help us make the community more beautiful—one tree at a time. We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Tree & Shrub Sales Associate with a passion for plants and strong customer service skills.

Position Overview:
This position focuses on assisting customers with selecting trees, shrubs, evergreens, and related landscape materials for their projects. Previous plant knowledge or landscaping experience is preferred. Training will be provided. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a landscaping background who enjoys customer interaction and sales rather than installation work.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers in selecting trees, shrubs, and evergreens
  • Provide guidance on plant selection and care
  • Help customers with flagstone, cobbles, and related materials
  • Load and unload trucks and semi deliveries
  • Lift, load, and transport plants for customers
  • Water and maintain plant inventory
  • Clean and organize tree and shrub lots
  • Operate heavy machinery
  • Support daily nursery operations as needed

Requirements:

  • Plant knowledge or landscaping experience preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lift and move heavy plants and materials
  • Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Must be available to work one weekend day
  • Ability to commute to Urbana, IL 61802 (Required)
  • Must relocate before starting work (Required)

Schedule:

  • 8-hour day shift
  • 5 days a week including 1 weekend day
  • Seasonal, Full-Time
