Every member of the Country Arbors family is well trained and experienced and has a dedication towards sharing their knowledge with our customers. The talents of our team and it's training is very diverse with employees holding Degrees in many different disciplines. Not to be understated, an equally important part of our ability to maintain and manage our dedication to excellence is developed through on the job training, experienced personnel training lesser experienced personnel so as to enable them to provide you with a higher level of satisfaction.
Horticultural Production Education
Country Arbors Nursery is a production nursery which specializes in the production of a wide range annuals, perennials and deciduous nursery stock. At any given time of the year there is a different phase of the production cycle which is being managed. Individuals with an interest in the production side of the industry are encouraged to request a personal tour of the cycle in process at that time of the year.
The Country Arbors Arboretum
The true, basic beauty of any given plant is best conveyed through being able to view the plant in a landscaped setting. Seeing the plant in this manner helps one to understand how a specific plant relates to other plants, as well as appreciate the attributes a specific plant brings forth to the overall landscape design. Over the years our love of plants and desire to see them evolve through their growth cycles has resulted in the development of a five acre arboretum which incorporates various landscaping concepts for your viewing pleasure. We continue to expand our gardens each year. We are very proud of our gardens and the diversity of material which is incorporated into the designs. We welcome all individuals or groups to visit our gardens at their convenience. You are welcome to simply browse at any time, or if desired, we will give you a guided tour.
Seminars, Training Sessions, and Group Presentations
The Country Arbors family is always willing to talk about plants in any manner, shape or form at any time. Individuals or groups are encouraged to discuss having Country Arbors set up discussion groups or meetings for their topic of interest. Country Arbors does not have regularly scheduled events, we have them whenever there is interest in doing so.
Country Arbors Garden Center
For those individuals looking to add a touch of Nature's Charm© to their garden, we encourage you to visit our garden center. You will find an assortment of quality plant material as well as many items which are not generally not available elsewhere. The majority of our plants are locally grown by our families' nurseries.
Country Arbors Landscape Division
Country Arbors Nursery specializes in unique, customized landscape design and build, as well as installation services. Our landscape designs are carefully developed to insure the installation extends and enhances the beauty of the property in a manner which is in harmony with the personal tastes of the owner.
Country Arbors Wholesale Division
Country Arbors Nursery is a 50 acre operation. Of our 50 acres, we have 40 acres dedicated to production and 10 acres dedicated to our Garden Center and arboretum. We have 100,000+ square feet of greenhouse space dedicated to the production of annuals, perennials and deciduous nursery stock. Field production consists of trees and shrubs which we consider to be of major value and importance for landscaping in central Illinois.
Both field and container production continues to be expanded each year so as to provide us with an ample stock of those plants which we feel have extensive merit for inclusion in the landscapes of our local area. We also produce a wide variety of the old favorites.
